These are a few of my favorite things...

Hugs (They say you need 9 hugs a day to remain emotionally balanced!!!)
Beautiful lingerie (rather then ‘underwear’)
Storms
Red wine
Water – doesn’t matter if it’s the beach, a pool, a spa bath – whatever – I love it all
Good food
Good conversation
Comfortable silences with people you love
Roses, freesias, tulips & gerbras
Driving
Horseriding
The smell of clean sweat
Lying in New farm park with a good book, some food (cheese, olives, bread, olive oil, muscatels nuts and some white wine) and a good friend to lie there with while we read and let the smell of the rose gardens wrap around us
Lying in bed watching dust motes dance in the air, extra points if its while my partner is still asleep and spooning me
Shoes
Handbags
Lying in bed with my partner and just listening to the sound of his heart beating while he strokes my hair
Rugby Union games - i don't understand it but I love the atmosphere of being at the match
Having my hair brushed
Massages
Issey Miyake – I love men who wear this – love love love love love
Camping (surprising for someone as girly as me but there you go)
Sitting at the beach on a grey day and listening to the sound of the waves
Having the back of my neck kissed
Pedicures!
Clean sheets – god I love clean, crisp, white cotton sheets
Sliding naked into bed when all relevant parts are freshly waxed and you are totally clean (hair, face etc) and the sheets are clean too.
Fluffy towels
Going to the hairdresser (its just so relaxing!)
Sitting round with K1 reading Vogue or Harpers while drinking champagne
Getting ready to go out with K1 – it takes us 4 hours & we are smashed by the time we leave but its so much fun!
Laughing
My nieces
My sister
My family
Lazy Sundays
Chocolate bagels
Spending time with my friends
Group breakfasts – everyone in the group converges on someones house on a Sunday morning – one person brings eggs, one person brings bacon etc etc we cook up all the food then all laze around reading the Sunday papers and eating and its just so comfortable
Reading a good book – doesn’t matter if its mind candy or something that I have to work at, I just love to read.
Listening to music
Singing (I actually can sing)
Fraser Island
Lying under the stars at night and just watching them go by.
Moonlight on waves
Flying
The smell of freshly cut grass
Sugar cane fields
Watching the cane fields undulate as a storm rolls in
Playing in the rain
Jumping in puddles with my niece
The smell of new leather / the texture of old, worn, soft leather
Dogs & Cats
Bubblebaths taken with a glass of wine and a good book (or someone who knows about a good book)
That moment when you first pierce the skin of an orange as you peel it and that sharp tangy smell hits you – if I close my eyes I am 12 years old again sitting in the summer sunshine after having a swim in the pool, feeling the sun beating down on my shoulders and eating oranges with my best friend. I can smell the freshly cut lawn & the food my mum was cooking in the kitchen and I can hear the wind rustling the leaves of the gum trees and the chickens clucking and the dog barking and the sound of Fleetwood Mac coming from my sisters bedroom and I remember that feeling of utter peace and contentment.
